Seaside

Situated neatly between WaterColor and Seagrove Beach, the idyllic community of Seaside boasts 80 acres of character laced with cobblestone streets, beach pavilions and open air shopping, eating & gathering spots. With its motto of “a simple, beautiful life,” it’s no wonder this special town is adored by locals and visitors alike.

Seaside is a modern-day Victorian town, with narrow streets, picket fences and homes arranged close together to encourage walking and neighborliness. The first of its kind, Seaside serves as a model for such towns across America. It’s the hub for South Walton and HWY 30A, housing several of the annual events and celebrations in the Santa Rosa Beach area. It was even used as a movie set for The Truman Show starring Jim Carrey in 1998.

Seaside features an excellent range of amenities to residents, from its boutique shops, casual eateries and seasonal entertainment at the theater and outdoor amphitheater to the bookstores and art galleries along with the popular Farmer’s Market. Swimming pools, parks, tennis courts and a Medical Arts Center are all within walking distance to each Seaside residence.
